Physical Collections
Albion College has a rich history beginning prior to its official founding in 1835, and is documented by a wealth of records and artifacts currently preserved in Archives & Special Collections. Physical collections in our repository fall into two categories: archival collections and manuscript collections. Archival materials are comprised of institutional records generated by Albion College and its respective departments. Manuscripts are comprised of the papers or collections of individuals, families, or other entities associated with the college.
